Through the residents’ experiences, this film illustrates the value of

and begin rebuilding their world as 40 yr. old women in a foreign land. Nearing the end of their lives, the two
are inseparable parts of a collective story and their relationship reflects an
era and the importance of finding creativity in a world of constant change.

Vicky Haluska’s personal experience of the Christo and Jean Claude art
installation of 7500 “Gates” in New York’s Central Park, this film was inspired
